On December 2nd, 2021, the Center for International Education (CIE) – Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology held the Opening Ceremony of the Articulation Bachelor’s Class of IT between PTIT and La Trobe University (Australia), course 2021-2025. The opening ceremony was held online at the 2 livestream ends: at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (Vietnam) and at La Trobe University (Australia).
The Articulation Bachelor’s Program of Information Technology has been signed by the PTIT and La Trobe University (Australia) since 2020 and the enrollment was officially deployed in 2021 with the specific results of the first articulation international training course marking the active cooperation between the PTIT and La Trobe University, which is considered an important landmark in the articulation training activities of the PTIT.
Attending the opening ceremony there was the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Quang Anh – Vice-President of the Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and Dr. Stacey Farraway – Vice-Chancellor (International), La Trobe University and the leaders of the training centers and the training faculties of the two universities, the freshmen’s parents and the freshmen of the first course.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Post and Telecommunication Institute of Technology Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Quang Anh – Vice-President of the PTIT delivered a speech to open the Articulation Bachelor’s Class of Information Technology between PTIT and La Trobe University (Australia), course 2021-2025. The Vice-President of the PTIT highly appreciated the active international training cooperation and program promotion efforts of the Center for International Education (CIE) in collaboration with LaTrobe University demonstrated through the successful enrollment and the solemn organization of the opening ceremony of the 1st course. The enrollment under the Articulation Bachelor’s Program of Information Technology between the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and La Trobe University took place especially in the difficult conditions affected by the Covid-19 pandemic situation happening globally and in Vietnam. The Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology will organize and conduct a good training program in the first 2 years in Vietnam, creating opportunities for the students to improve their qualifications according to the international standards and be able to successfully integrate into the study environment in Australia.

On the side of La Trobe University, Dr. Stacey Farraway – Vice-Chancellor (International), La Trobe University made a speech extending thank to the Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and the Center for International Education for their efforts of promoting the program in order to achieve the initial success and congratulate the freshmen on their admission to the program. La Trobe University is committed to creating the most favourable conditions for the next international cooperation activities with the PTIT, especially providing maximum support for the freshmen during their first 2 years of study in Vietnam as well as during the next 2 years of study in Australia in order to achieve the best results and complete the training program in accordance with the set up goals and learning roadmap.

Also at the ceremony, freshman Khuc Tuan Anh, representing the freshmen of class E21LKCN, extended the sincere thanks to the teachers of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and La Trobe University, and promised to put all his energy and ability to study, research and achieve good study results with the goal of being transferred to Latrobe University for continual studying according to the program’s roadmap as well as to complete the training program and acquire a bachelor’s degree.

The opening ceremony of the Articulation Bachelor’s Class of Information Technology between PTIT and La Trobe University (Australia), course 2021-2025 ended successfully with joy, excitement and determination to strive to complete the studying tasks well by both the teachers and the student. The Center for International Education made commitment to making efforts and creating the best conditions for the Articulation Bachelor’s Program of Information Technology to be successfully implemented.
