On 27 October 2022, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) welcomed the delegation from the University of Canberra (Australia) and organized the Cooperation Agreement signing ceremony between the two universities.
The University of Canberra delegation headed by Mr. Chris Gartner, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Future Students, was warmly welcomed by PTIT with the attendance from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Quang Anh, Vice Present, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Huu Hanh, Director of the Center for International Education, Dr. Do Trung Anh, Vice Head of Science & Technology Management and International Cooperation Department, Dr. Le Thi Hang, Vice Dean of Multimedia Faculty as well as other lecturers and staff.
At the meeting, representatives from PTIT and the University of Canberra made the introduction of the universities and shared a plan for cooperation in joint training, mobility and research activities between the two universities. PTIT and University of Canberra also marked commitment to cooperation through the signing of an Articulation Agreement. Accordingly, the parties will cooperate to enable PTIT’s eligible students to articulate to University of Canberra’s courses to receive University of Canberra’s Degree.
In appreciation of the opportunities that can be brought to students through this cooperation, both leaders of PTIT and the University of Canberra expressed a strong belief that the two universities would make their best efforts to have the first cohort in 2023 to get the initial results from the cooperation. Besides, the two universities agreed to promote more activities of student exchange and MBA training within the cooperation program.
