Opening Ceremony Of Joint Training Program In Information Technology Bachelor Between PTIT And La Trobe University (Australia) – Course 2022-2025
On November 24, 2022, the Center For International Education (CIE) – Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology held the Opening ceremony of the Joint Training Program in Information Technology Bachelor between PTIT and La Trobe University (Australia) – Course 2022-2025. The opening ceremony was held online with the participation of PTIT (Vietnam) and La Trobe University (Australia). This Joint Training Program was signed by PTIT and LaTrobe University in 2020 and officially started enrollment in 2021. After the success of the first course, the second is a remarkable activity demonstrating the active cooperation between PTIT and La Trobe University. It is also a significant milestone in the joint training activities of both sides.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Quang Anh – Vice President of PTIT and Dr. Simon Egerton – Deputy Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology – La Trobe University, Ms. Hieu Le – Representative of La Trobe University in Vietnam, Leaders of Training Centers and Faculties of the two universities, parents and students of course 1 and 2 attended the Opening ceremony held at PTIT. Mr. Dary Milani – Vice President of La Trobe University, Prof. Wenny Rahayu – Principal of School of Computer Science, Engineering and Mathematics (SCEMS), Prof. Naveen Chilamkurti – Vice Dean (International Partner) – SCEMS, Dr. Tommy Huynh – Lecturer in Computer Science also attended but through the online platform.
At the ceremony, on behalf of PTIT, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Quang Anh – Vice President of PTIT delivered a speech to open the Joint Training Program in Information Technology Bachelor between PTIT and La Trobe University (Australia) – Course 2022-2025. The Vice President of PTIT highly appreciated the active international training cooperation and program promotion efforts of CIE in collaboration with LaTrobe University, demonstrated through the successful enrollment and organization of the second-course opening ceremony. PTIT will well operate a training program for 2 years in Vietnam, creating opportunities for students to improve their qualifications according to international standards and be able to adapt to the Australian study environment.
On the side of LaTrobe University, Prof. Wenny Rahayu – Principle of School of Computer Science, Engineering and Mathematics (SCEMS) gave a speech to thank PTIT and CIE for their efforts to promote the program. The program was successful, congratulations to the new students who have been accepted to participate in the program. LaTrobe University is committed to creating the best conditions for further international cooperation activities with PTIT, especially providing maximum support for students during their first 2 years in Vietnam as well as in the learning process. like the next 2 years in Australia to achieve the best results, and complete the training program by the goals and learning path.
Also in the ceremony, student Lam Minh Khoi, representing the students of class E22LKCN, thanked the teachers of PTIT and La Trobe University. He promised to put all her energy and energy to study, research, achieve good results by transferring to Latrobe University by the program’s schedule as well as completing the training program and receiving a bachelor’s degree.
The Opening ceremony of the Joint Training Program in Information Technology Bachelor between PTIT and La Trobe University (Australia) – Course 2022-2025 ended successfully with joy, excitement, and determination to strive for the best result. CIE is committed to making efforts and creating the best conditions for the training program to be successfully implemented.
