On the morning of September 15, PTIT collaborated with MEROS Language School to organize a workshop with the topic “Job opportunities in Information Technology industry in Japan for students of Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology”
The workshop had the participation of Mr. Kagawa Yasushi – Director of MEROS Language School; Ms. Bui Quynh Trang – Representative of MEROS Language School in Vietnam and teachers of the CIE – PTIT.

He also shared the skills that students need when wanting to become Information Technology engineers working at Japanese businesses. Besides, he also shared stories and practical experiences so that students can more easily visualize studying and life in Japan.

Ms. Bui Quynh Trang also shared about the PTIT – SAKURA Program. This is the Japan-Vietnam Human Resource Development program in higher education jointly organized by the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and MEROS Language School, Japan, with the goal of training qualified IT Engineers with high technical and language proficiency with output standards that can work in both Japanese and Vietnamese markets.
Student Nguyen Van Chien shared about his study and work experiences
After 3 enrollment courses, the PTIT – SAKURA Program has attracted the attention and participation of many students and has received its first results. Many students have had good academic achievements, typically student Nguyen Van Chien – Course 1. In this conference, he also shared with students about his study and work experiences throughout the entire process.
The duration of the seminar was limited, but many students asked questions, especially interested in the Japanese language learning path, job opportunities, income and working time in Japan. At the end of the seminar, students also expressed their sincere gratitude to Mr. Kagawa Yasushi for taking his valuable time to exchange and share useful information with students. At the same time, PTIT hopes that in the future there will be more seminar programs to help students orient and easily choose suitable careers and businesses.
