On September 27, 2023, at Hall A2, Center for International Education continued to organize an Artificial Intelligence course on “Deep learning for anomaly detection: Theory and application” with sharing from leading international expert Prof. JASON J. JUNG, Senior Lecturer – Chung-Ang University with the participation of nearly 400 students.
The lesson was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Huu Hanh – Director of Center for International Education; MSc. Pham Tran Cam Van – Specialist of Center for International Education; MSc. Pham Vu Minh Tu – Specialist of Center for International Education; Teachers from PTIT’s Faculty of Multimedia, Faculty of Telecommunications, Faculty of Information Technology
With the basic information about anomaly detection delivered in the previous lesson, the expert provided a deeper knowledge system about anomaly detection techniques such as LOF, boxplot, statistical methods… And pay attention to the Computational Negotiation Mechanism in the IoT environment. Computational Negotiation Model in IoT Environment is a method of applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) to automate the negotiation process between devices and network nodes in the Internet of Things (IoT). One of the important applications of computational negotiation mechanisms in IoT environments is anomaly detection – Irregular behaviors in requesting access to resources or important information from unauthorized devices.
At the end of the course, students asked questions and worked with Prof. Jason J. Jung to discuss the opportunities and challenges of AI in developing and deploying anomaly detection systems. Representative of the Center for International Education, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Huu Hanh also presented souvenirs and expressed his sincere thanks to Prof. Jason J. Jung for sharing a lot of useful knowledge with students in this study topic.
