On the morning of November 22, at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Center for International Education organized a workshop “Study abroad opportunities and scholarships at the University of Middlesex for students majoring in Multimedia at PTIT” with the participation of Ms. Kay Yuen, International Education Manager, Middlesex University.
During this workshop, Ms. Kay Yuen shared detailed and valuable information about the education system at Middlesex University. Students gained a clear understanding of the prominent fields of study, learning conditions, as well as the costs and living conditions in the UK. Particularly, she introduced and explained the conditions and benefits of participating in the 3+1 transfer program for Multimedia students. Accordingly, Multimedia students at PTIT who complete the first 3 years with a GPA of 2.5/4 or higher and achieve an IELTS score of 6.0 will be eligible to transfer to study and receive a Bachelor of Digital Media; Bachelor of 3D Animation and Games; Bachelor of Advertising, Public Relations and Branding awarded by Middlesex University.
Through the workshop, PTIT students had the opportunity to learn more about Middlesex University, including scholarship opportunities, registration requirements and application procedures. Workshop also provided a platform for students to meet and interact directly with representatives from Middlesex University, gaining more experiences and receiving specific guidance on scholarship opportunities and post-graduation employment.
Ranked 20th among public universities in the UK, Middlesex University offers education in five main groups: Commerce Economics, Information Technology, Art Studies, Social Sciences and Health – Education.
Currently, the university has around 25,000 students, including 6,000 international students, constituting approximately 20% of the student body, representing 130 countries worldwide, and offering over 100 study programs for students to choose from. Presently, there are about 100 Vietnamese students studying at the university.
