Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) is one of 10 universities entitled to the Samsung Talent Scholarship Program – STP 2019. It is expected that by early December 2019, PTIT students will be given awarded STP 2019 scholarships of VND 66 – 114 million/student.
Along with that, PTIT students won STP 2019 scholarships, also sponsored by Samsung Vietnam 100% of the course fees for Algorithms and Applications; at the same time, being well-trained on cutting-edge technologies, practice and graduation project (3 months) with the guidance of experienced Samsung engineers.
In particular, PTIT students also have the opportunity to participate in many events of Samsung and become an official member of Samsung R&D in Hanoi right after graduation, work with diverse Mobile and PC platforms across all System – Framework – Applicasion subclasses, work with advanced technologies such as AI, Machine learning, Big Data on Cloud Computing platform. In addition, PTIT students also have long-term Onsite opportunities at major R&D centers in Korea, Singapore, the UK, Australia, the USA, India … and collaborate with leading experts and create the world’s # 1 product.
To have the opportunity to receive STP 2019 scholarships, Academy students must be able to program in 1 of 3 C / C ++ or Java languages and will graduate in December 2020 and 12/2021. Samsung will award scholarships to regular university students for 2016 and 2017 courses in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics, and Multimedia.
In 2019, candidates for the SPT scholarship program are required to apply online from September 9 to November 3, 2019, at Samsung Vietnam’s recruitment website at www.samsungcareers.com.vn .
According to the plan, immediately after applying, candidates will attend training classes before the entrance exam. Next, on November 2, 2019, candidates will take the basic programming exam. On November 8, 2019, candidates will attend the interview and the 2019 STP scholarship award ceremony is scheduled to be held on December 6, 2019.
The STP 2019 scholarship program is part of the comprehensive cooperation memorandum between the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and Samsung Electronic Vietnam for the period 2018-2020.
