On 09 June 2023, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) extended a warm welcome Queensland University of Technology and a conference was organized between the two universities.
Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology was represented by: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Quang Anh – Vice President of Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Huu Hanh – Director of the Center for International Education; Dr. Do Trung Anh – Vice Head of Science & Technology Management and International Cooperation Department; MS. Pham Vu Minh Tu – Project Development Manager – Center for International Education; MS. Tran Thi Huong Giang – Expert of Science & Technology Management and International Cooperation Department.
The delegation from Queensland University of Technology comprised of: Mr. Paul Bolt – Director of International Cooperation, Queensland University of Technology; Prof. Cameron Newton – Vice Dean of Faculty of Business and Law, Queensland University of Technology; Ms. Binh Palm – Regional Coordinator, Southeast Asia, Queensland University of Technology; Ms. Janice Lau – Faculty of Business and Law, Queensland University of Technology.
At the meeting, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) and Queensland University of Technology discussed and shared a cooperation plan in training activities, students exchange and joint research of two universities in affiliate training programs. Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) and Queensland University of Technology also agreed to work closely to promote signing a Cooperation Agreement between two universities.
The leaders appreciated these potential opportunities for the students via this collaboration and expressed the expectation that two parties would make efforts to launch the next cooperation program in 2024. Beside, two universities agreed to further promote training activities in Data Science, Multimedia Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, Fintech.
At the end of this meeting, the representatives of two universities gave presents and took pictures together.
