Meeting between PTIT and University of Canberra

On the afternoon of September 23, 2024, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) had a meeting with the University of Canberra to discuss and expand cooperation between the two institutions.

From PTIT, the meeting was attended by Dr. Le Thi Hang – Deputy Dean, In charge of the Faculty of Multimedia; Dr. Pham Vu Minh Tu – Deputy Director, in charge of Center for International Education; Dr. Vu Huu Tien – Head of the Department of Multimedia Application Development; Ms. Nguyen Thi Van Anh – Lecturer, Faculty of Multimedia; Ms. Nguyen Thanh Nga – Lecturer, Faculty of Business Administration
On behalf of the University of Canberra, the participants include Prof. Braden McGrath – Enterprise Professor, Faculty of Science and Technology; Dr. Maryam Ghahramani – Senior Lecturer and Program Director in Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Simon Hoy – Associate Dean Partnerships & International, Faculty of Business Government and Law; Mr. James Amrit – Director, Future Students Office; Mr. Raj Desai – Business Development Manager (Southeast Asia and LATAM); Dr. Benjamin Vu – Faculty of Business, Government & Law
Both institutions shared their development processes and successes in longstanding cooperative relationships
At the meeting, both institutions shared their development processes and successes in longstanding cooperative relationships. Both parties also discussed future cooperation opportunities between PTIT and UC’s Faculty of Science and Technology, and UC’s Faculty of Business, Government & Law, exploring various potential forms of collaboration, such as student exchange programs, short-term study abroad, joint undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs, as well as joint research between the two institutions.
The University of Canberra has strong connections with businesses and the government, which promise to provide students with practical advantages through internships, recruitment opportunities, and diverse career prospects. University of Canberra is also ranked among the Australian universities eligible for Level 1 priority visa processing, offering international students a more streamlined visa application process.
