POSTS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY TO IMPLEMENT MOTIVE PROJECT

The Monitoring Trends in Vietnamese Graduates Employment (MOTIVE Project) is considered as the second phase of the VOYAGE Project to enhance labor market access opportunities for Vietnamese students implemented successfully in the period of 2015 – 2018. As one of the nine member institutions of the MOTIVE Project, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) has started the project as soon as students began to return to the campus after being interrupted by the epidemic.

After the kick-off meeting (KOM), which took place on February 23, 2020, PTIT determined that the immediate implementation of MOTIVE project activities was necessary to early bring the values from the project to the final year students of PTIT. For students, the online system allows the creation of a standard model of the European Union and at the same time allows students to access recruitment opportunities of domestic and foreign businesses. For PTIT, through the student feedback on the survey system, PTIT can absorb assessments about the quality of training, the school’s support for business connection activities, facilitate access to internships and employment opportunities for students. For businesses, the system will support access to candidates and find high quality workers from the university’s students.

Therefore, right from the first week of students’ return to campus, PTIT has conducted activities to introduce the goals and benefits of the project as well as guide students to declare their accounts and provide grant information on this online portal system. This activity has been strongly supported by students, appreciating the meaning of the project.
